Poetry: Frank Donoghue

Do I Still Belong

Tell me today do you want me to stay
Or far away from you shall I go away
I need too know if you still care
For if you don’t it’s really not fair
Instead you’ll lie to keep me here
This being happening since my youth
Today however I need the truth
I need to know with you what’s wrong
In that heart of yours do I still belong
For if not don’t string me along
I need to know this very day
Before I leave and go away
The very truth and do not lie
As to you I bid my last goodbye.
